Flush Network Caches: lower ping jitter in 1 sec
Option 9 flushes DNS, NetBIOS and ARP — the three stale caches that add 20-40ms ghost ping after router, DNS or VPN changes.
Option 9 — Flush Network Caches · DNS · NetBIOS · ARP
Zero risk · 1 sec · No rebootThe three flushes
ipconfig /flushdns— clears resolver cache (stale A records after DNS change)nbtstat -R— purges NetBIOS remote name cachearp -d *— clears ARP table (fixes ghost gateway after router swap)
Together they fix "my ping was 30ms yesterday, 70ms today and I changed nothing" — often DNS or ARP stale.
When to run: After switching to Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) / Google (8.8.8.8) DNS, after VPN session, after router reboot, or if matchmaking feels laggy but speedtest is fine.
